After a long summer lived in the summer pastures of high mountain, to the feet of the highest tops of Europe, the cows do return to their back stables valley.

The day of 'La Desarpa' coincides for tradition with the feast of San Michele, and every year, the transhumance of the cattle represents an important moment for the life of the breeder, as well as a day of party to share with the population.

Hence it the idea of a large 'Desarpa' descent from all these high altitude pastures, involving beyond the bovine herds also flocks of goats and sheep. An I plunge in the past to recreate a moment of folklore in which villagers and tourists together, wait for joyful long the road the passage of the herd for a goodbye to the shepherds and to their livestock.

A La Thuile celebrate this special day giving us appointment in the 'Piazzale Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto' in the center of the country.

In the field events, us itself can to attempt in the typical local game of the "palet", to observe the animals with their small and to lunch all together.
